What Everyone’s Reading

These are the things people want to know the most — the ones that keep coming back to the forefront. If you’re not sure where to start, this is a good place. Each post is designed to give you clear, practical info around wellness, nutrition, and simplifying the way you care for your body.

The Truth About Protein, Fat & Carbs

(Simple, smart tools to build strength and confidence—right from your living room)

Starting a fitness routine at home doesn’t require a full gym setup or trendy gear. In fact, most of that stuff just gets in the way. This guide breaks down the only tools you truly need to get started: adjustable dumbbells, a quality non-slip mat, and a basic set of resistance bands. Nothing fancy—just functional.

Running looks easy — until you actually start running. Trust me, I’ve been there.

When I first laced up my running shoes, I couldn’t make it even a half mile without feeling like my lungs were going to explode. I was winded, frustrated, and 100% convinced that I just “wasn’t a runner.”

This post is for the people who “aren’t runners”. The people who have sold themselves that lie. But I know from experience that you are also the people who want to run but don’t know where to start. The ones who think it’s all or nothing. The ones who’ve told themselves they’re just not built for it.

I promise you — you are.

From tagging along running with my mom as a kid and sneaking onto her yoga mat, to gymnastics, team sports, half-marathons, and hot yoga classes that made me question my life choices — movement has always been my thing.

I’ve spent the last decade honing in on lifting weights, studying strength training techniques, trying every fitness class I could get my hands on (CrossFit, Peloton, hot yoga — you name it), and falling deeper in love with the science and real-life impact of movement. That passion was accompanied by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in nutrition, where I studied everything from biomechanics to developmental psychology and exercise physiology. This time gave me an incredible opportunity to dive into the why of exercise, allowing me to view my medical background through a more holistic lens.

I believe in treating the body as a whole: mental, physical, spiritual and emotional. I believe in balance, and in helping people feel strong, energized, and at home in their bodies — without making health feel like a full-time job.

In my professional life, I’ve worked hands-on with patients in the medical field, where I learned how to really listen — and how to make complex health information feel clear, compassionate, and actually useful. That experience, paired with my years in the fitness space is what I aim to bring into everything that happens here.

This blog is my space to share it all — workouts that don’t suck, food that makes you feel good (and full), and honest conversations about what sustainable wellness actually looks like.
